NG Bailey’s Engineering division has secured a contract with United Arab Emirates based firm – Al Naboodah to deliver a professional consultancy service.

This new project was secured as a result of the company being impressed by NG Bailey’s design and technical engineering capabilities – paying particular reference to the knowledge and skill in the areas of Building Information Modelling (BIM), multi-service co-ordination and project planning.

A dedicated BIM team delivered a fully working and co-ordinated 3D model of a new airport terminal, air traffic control building and runway fire service station – to be built on a remote island 100 miles off the coast of Abu Dhabi.

NG Bailey’s technical director, Steve Campbell, said:

Securing this project is testament to our design and technical capability – one which is seen as market leading.

This is just the type of project we want to be winning, as it gives us the opportunity to prove our consultative approach and demonstrates the value we can add to customers.

David Hurcomb, CEO, said:

As the UK construction market remains challenging, we have been seeking out new opportunities in line with our strategic growth plan.
