Carter Jonas is expanding its rural division with the appointment of David Davenport to the York office as a rural surveyor.
A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, David will provide valuations, compensation claims and tenancy advice to clients. He will also carry out rural agency work.
Since graduating from Harper Adams University College with a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management, David, 27, has gained experience as an assistant land agent and a rural surveyor.
He joins Carter Jonas from East Riding of Yorkshire Council where he carried out estate management, the sale of all types of rural property and provided rural planning advice to the authority’s development control team as a valuation and estates surveyor.
“I’m delighted to join Carter Jonas, one of the largest firms of property consultants in the UK. I’m looking forward to the variety of work that will come my way.”
Dan Taylor of Carter Jonas said:
“David is a welcome addition to the team. The knowledge and experience that he brings to the York office will expand and build upon the existing services offered to our clients.”
Outside of work David retains his interest in the great outdoors.
