Many historic centuries have been scored at Yorkshire’s cricket ground in Headingley, Leeds – and now a local estate agency can boast one with a difference.

The team at Castlehill – which specialises in the sale and letting of properties across North Leeds from its base at Otley Road – has just chalked up 100 years of service between them.

The independent agency – Headingley’s longest-established – is marking the milestone by taking on extra staff to help meet the needs of buyers and sellers who are now entering the market in ever-increasing numbers.

And it has also unveiled a new website which now harnesses the latest thinking in marketing and search ranking technology.

Director Simon Ketteringham said:

“We are fortunate to have such a dedicated and long-serving team, whose passion for selling and letting homes is as strong today as it was the day they joined us.

“It is a real asset for a company like ours, which prides itself on its customer service, to be able to retain such an extensive pool of local knowledge and draw upon this sector expertise.”

He added:

“We have been at the heart of the community, part of the Headingley and North Leeds ‘family’, for more than 30 years and have always had a clear focus on the future.

“The collective experience we have equips us with a strong platform to take forward new marketing initiatives and keep pace with the latest hi-tech advances.

“This will be key to our future success as the property sector goes on the move itself – into a modern era.”
