An organisation that supports businesses in Nidderdale, Mashamshire and the WashburnValley is encouraging local business owners to sign up for free seminars on a range of business topics.

Superfast North Yorkshire – the organisation in charge of rolling out high-speed internet across the region – is holding a free digital marketing boot camp this Tuesday (June 11) at The Copper Dragon Brewery in Skipton.

Katy Penn, Partnership Manager at Nidderdale Plus, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses in the Dales to attend free master classes and training events, gaining support and insight into developing their businesses.

“Our local businesses should check the SFNY website, register their interest and someone from the Superfast North Yorkshire team will contact them to discuss details and ensure eligibility”

As part of its delivery of fibre broadband, Superfast North Yorkshire – the multimillion pound partnership that includes North Yorkshire County Council and British Telecom – is providing these series of free business support services to ensure the county’s businesses make the most of increased internet connectivity.

The business support package aims to help businesses boost their sales orders, accelerate their growth and increase productivity.

More information about the workshops can be found on the partnership’s website: www.sfny.co.uk

  • The Superfast North Yorkshire Business Support programme is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and all activity provided is free of charge for eligible businesses. The focus for business eligibility is on B2B activity.
