Family firm Thomas the Baker  will be opening its 37th new shop in Skipton High Street this week.

Skipton’s Mayor John Kerwin-Davey will be donning his full mayoral chains of office to officially open the store on Wednesday (June 12) alongside Skipton’s Town Crier, who will be announcing the new arrival to hungry passers by.

To celebrate the launch of the Yorkshire bakery’s latest shop, the Thomas the Baker team will be handing out free samples and collecting money for the Mayor’s chosen charities – Skipton and Craven Action for Disability and Epilepsy Action.
