Hot on the heels of landing the prestigious title of UK’s Most Trusted Healthcare provider for the third year running, York-based Benenden Health has announced a first-time partnership with Leeds, York & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.

From the beginning of this month, the York-based mutual healthcare provider has been providing Chamber members with special offers for those who choose to join the 900,000-strong Benenden Health community.

Fiona Dun, sales and relationship manager at Benenden Health said:

“We are delighted to work in partnership with our local Chamber of Commerce to offer these deals to their members.

“The ethos of the Chamber of Commerce, which brings businesses together and helps to provide support to its members is very much aligned with our own ethos of mutuality and so the partnership is a natural fit for us and one which we are very excited about progressing.

“Because we offer both personal and business healthcare schemes, we are able to provide Chamber members with the means to achieving healthier, happier and more energetic workforces and we’re  looking forward to working with the Chamber to develop the partnership.”

Len Cruddas, chamber chief executive, said:

“Benenden Health is an excellent new addition to our portfolio of products offered to Chamber members. Introducing healthcare plans can help businesses with recruitment or retention and is also a cost effective way to reward staff. We look forward to building a strong partnership with Benenden Health going forward.”

Benenden Health has been voted the UK’s most trusted healthcare provider for three years running in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
