A recruitment consultancy which specialises in finding staff for the legal, accountancy and banking sectors, has recruited an industry heavyweight to head up it Leeds office.
Blusource’s Leeds operation will be run by John Stokes, a vastly experienced recruitment expert who was head of national operations for the aim-listed Longbridge International, the UK’s first legal headhunting business established in 1989.
John, who is listed in the official ‘Who’s Who of Recruitment’ has been at the forefront of legal recruitment for the last 25 years, most recently as founder of the high-profile Quest Executive Search Limited.
Talking about his new role at Blusource, John said:
“Blusource has gained an enviable reputation in a relatively short space of time, and it’s a measure of the company’s success that it has expanded so quickly.
“Most other professional recruitment firms concentrate only on one end of the market; Blusource is different in that we offer a joined-up portfolio of services ranging from retained headhunting and law firm m&a brokerage through to contingent fee-earner recruitment and the recruitment of support services such as HR and finance professionals.”
“Also by aiming to limit our client base to a select number of high growth, quality and values led firms, we are able to provide a more focused and responsive service and offer more loyalty to the businesses who partner with us.”
“This puts Blusource in a unique and very strong position, and means the professional services sector in Yorkshire can now take advantage of an all-encompassing search and recruitment service.”
Andrew Springhall, chief executive, Blusource said:
“To have someone of John’s calibre on board at Blusource is great news for us, and even better news for the professional services sector in Leeds and the wider region.
“We’ve intentionally positioned ourselves in Princes Exchange so that John is easily accessible to individuals and firms searching for the best talent.
“We pride ourselves on working with high-growth, quality and values driven organisations and Leeds is home to many business of this calibre. We can’t wait to get started.”
Blusource’s expansion into Leeds marks a period of sustained growth for the company, which now has offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham. It will further expand the Leeds office in 2013, growing a team of consultants to offer search, recruitment and advisory services to the accountancy, tax and banking sectors.
