Businesses are being offered the opportunity to access more than 100 interactive short courses on a new e-learning platform.
The web-based training has been launched by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and is available to both members and non-members across the city region.
Developing a young professional in setting objectives or assisting a manager in conflict resolution, the new portal offers companies a chance to enhance their staff in many areas of business, no matter what sector they are in.
All of the training is done online, delivered by professional trainers, with each session lasting 30-45 minutes.
Amar Saleem, business training manager at Sheffield Chamber, said:
“The portal has been launched after feedback from local businesses. Companies from a variety of sectors can now access a range of courses quickly and efficiently.
“The courses are perfect for businesses whose staff are not able to take a day out of their schedule to attend the training.”
Credits can be purchased and distributed to relevant staff to be used for the courses.
A credit costs £20 plus VAT to Chamber members, £25 plus VAT to non-members and will allow one user to access one course as many times as needed for up to 30 days.
Usage can also be monitored and a certificate is received at the end of the training.
The e-learning platform also offers the benefit of claiming Continuous Personal Development (CPD) points for each interactive course that is completed, which is suited for individuals in the legal and professional sectors.
Brief two-minute introduction videos are available to view which showcase the courses available and the key areas being assessed.
