The Post Office is modernising four of its Leeds branches into new main-style branches – with customers set to benefit from longer service hours in brighter retail environments.
As part of plans to modernise the network, Bramley Post Office, Meanwood Post Office, Rothwell Post Office, and Lincoln Green Post Office are in line for upgrades over the coming months.
Post Office Regional Network Manager for Central England Adrian Wales said:
“We understand how important Post Office branches are to people in Leeds and we are confident that these new modern Post Office services will be great for the communities around them and secure services for the future.
“This modernisation is part of a three-year investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office, that will see around half of the Post Office network converting to new-style branches and marks a commitment to no more branch closure programmes.
“These refurbishments will bring the total number of branches modernised in West Yorkshire to 30.”
