Bingley-based home shopping brand and thermal expert, Damart has announced a new sponsorship with Bradford & Bingley Rugby Club.

Better known as The Bees rugby team, Damart has sponsored the local team for more than ten years and will continue to be one of the club’s main sponsors with its logo featuring on the all the teams shirts for the 2013/2014 season.

Damart’s e-commerce and marketing director, Phil Anderson, said:

“With more than 800 staff in Bingley and Steeton, we are keen to support the local community in which we all work and live.

We’re particularly impressed with The Bees’ commitment to developing young players and are delighted to be helping support the club through this sponsorship agreement.”

The Bees’ director of rugby, Henry Paul, said:

“Our teams attract hundreds of rugby fans to the club each week and Damart’s sponsorship will be invaluable in supporting the work we do with the teams from juniors to the first team.”

The Bees’ first team is currently playing in the RFU National Three North competition and the first official home match is on September 14 against Huddersfield.
