Pyramid Display Materials Limited, the largest independent supplier to the UK sign and display market, has acquired Leeds-based self-adhesive vinyl distributor Sydney Beaumont (Leeds) Limited for an undisclosed sum.
Employing more than 100 staff across distribution centres and offices in Manchester, Birmingham and Gateshead, the deal gives Pyramid Display Materials Limited a presence in Yorkshire and enables the business to diversify into areas aligned to its core retail display market, while enhancing its specialist expertise in niche markets.
The development strengthens and broadens the product offering of Sydney Beaumont (Leeds) Limited which distributes products including self-adhesive vinyls, sheets and double-sided tapes – giving it access to more sophisticated computing systems together with the larger purchasing power enjoyed by the group.
