The ultimate girls’ night-in is taking place at Leeds Corn Exchange tomorrow.
Not only can attendees revamp their wardrobes, there are also numerous big-name brands on hand to help create new looks, including Armani Exchange, Topshop and Oasis.
Starting at 6pm, ladies will be welcomed with drinks, canapés, live music and the opportunity to mingle with like-minded females while swapping unwanted clothes.
There will also be complimentary hair, beauty and nail treatments.
The event is being organised by Ladies Just Wanna Have Lunch (LJWHL), one of Leeds’ most successful monthly networking groups.
Tickets are priced at £20 and a percentage of the ticket sales are going to women’s health charity, Wellbeing of Women.
Rachel Beverley-Stevenson, Leeds and Harrogate chair for Wellbeing of Women and chief executive of Leeds-based One Medical Group, said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have such a fabulous event supporting the charity and raising some much needed funds for our campaigns.
“Swishing is all about looking good and it’s important to feel good as well.
“We’ll have a Health Station from our team at The Light Surgery at the event where ladies can come and chat to us about female health issues in-between choosing their new clothes.
“I hope everyone enjoys swishing the night away!”
The event is beig held in conjunction with Urban Coco and The Wardrobe Angel.
Laura Bartlett, the editor of international fashion magazine, Urban Coco, and Stephanie Roper who is the creative mastermind behind The Wardrobe Angel, recently featured on ITV1’s ‘Tonight’ programme. Tom Rennolds, Masterchef 2012 runner up who works at Aspire Leeds, will also be coming along to the event.
