Langleys Solicitors has taken on a record number of up and coming trainee solicitors at its offices in York and Lincoln during 2013.

Six trainees have joined the firm’s York office, with a further three in Lincoln.

The nine young professionals are among 40 new staff recruited in the last 12 months, adding to Langleys’ 381-strong workforce.

The firm is enjoying record year-on-year growth and is predicting a healthy ten per cent increase in revenue this current financial year, following eight per cent growth to the year-end April 2013.

Langleys has also been successful in attracting a range of new clients including Santander, Indesit, Bauer Media, North Yorkshire County Council and the Danwood Group.

David Thompson, managing partner at Langleys, said:

“Investing in and nurturing young talent is vital in our industry and we’re delighted to welcome our trainees to the firm.

“They are joining Langleys during one of its most successful periods, and I wish them the very best of luck as they begin to move forward in their careers.”
