A prestigious charity and networking fashion event is being held at JCT600 Brooklands Maserati showroom in Leeds next week.

The event, being held on Thursday, November 7 and hosted by Leeds-based One Medical Group, is to raise awareness and funds for Wellbeing of Women, a long running charity dedicated to improving the health of women and babies across the UK.

Models from across the region will take to the catwalk amongst the luxury Italian Maseratis, wearing the latest fashion from local partners including LK Bennett, N.J. Geddes Jewellery, Harvey Nichols – Phase Eight and yourdressingroomleeds.co.uk.

One Medical Group is also proud to have Grant Thornton, Walker Morris, Virgin Active Kirkstall Road, Oulton Hall Spa, Production Light and Sound and James Brown Catering supporting the event.

Luxury partners will be providing items for the catwalk, canapés and treatments such as makeup touch-ups and massages.

There will also be the opportunity to network over a glass of Italian wine from Italyabroad.com.

All proceeds from ticket sales and raffle will go to Wellbeing of Women, in particular, the Action on Womb Cancer campaign which recently supported the social research paper, “Voices in the Dark”.

The research, commissioned by One Medical Group, looks into women’s experiences of womb cancer and the impact of the disease.

Rachel Beverley-Stevenson, chief executive of One Medical Group and chair of the Leeds and Harrogate branch of Wellbeing of Women, said:

“The work Wellbeing of Women does is vitally important to the development of women’s health both through education and research.

“We are proud to support them with this fashion event and look forward to welcoming guests on the night.”

Tickets are priced at £20 and can be purchased from: http://drivingawareness.eventbrite.co.uk
