Sheffield based design and manufacturing specialist Birley Manufacturing has appointed John Aistrop as project manager to work on a range of projects.
John, who joined the company earlier this month, has previously worked for a project management company on a variety of projects ranging between £3m – £10m.
During his eight years of experience in project management he has worked with public sector clients such as Rotherham College as well as on private sector jobs, seeing them through from concept to completion.
Originally from a mechanical engineering background, John has 2 children and lives locally in Sheffield. In his spare time he enjoys football coaching with his youngest son’s team.
Birley Manufacturing is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers for interior environments and rail carriage equipment and works with some of the UK’s top names, such as Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, NatWest and First Great Western.
Recently the firm have worked on a number of educational projects including the Staffordshire University Science and Technology Centre.
