Employees at Specsavers Opticians at Crystal Peaks, Sheffield, are set for a new look – all in the name of charity!
Female members of staff in the practice are getting in touch with their masculine side and are dressing up as men in support of Movember.
The male employees will be growing moustaches A cake sale will also be held to raise funds for the charity.
Movember, is a world-wide fundraising event which aims to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
Since its humble beginnings in Melbourne, Australia Movember has grown to become a truly global movement inspiring more than 3 Million to participate with formal campaigns across 21 countries worldwide.
Gil Vasey, director at Specsavers at Crystal Peaks, said:
“It is great that our ladies wanted to get involved in Movember.
“We hold a number of fundraising events at the practice and our staff and customers are fantastic and are always fully supportive of our charitable giving.
“Movember is a fantastic cause and I am sure the ladies will have lots of fun fundraising.”
