More than 500 jobs in Capita’s Dearne Valley and Leeds call centres will be created over the coming months, providing employment opportunities for residents in the surrounding areas.

The vacancies, which are currently open for application, have been created in Capita’s customer services business, through its contracts with large high-street brands including telecoms, retail and utility firms.

There are no minimum qualifications required for candidates, making these positions as accessible as possible to residents.

Instead Capita is looking for enthusiastic individuals who possess great personality, with ideal candidates having had previous customer service experience.

The full and part-time vacancies give residents the opportunity to work as part of the Capita team who are renowned for their first-class customer service.

Successful candidates will receive competitive pay and can look forward to a number of benefits including discounts at various outlets, access to an on-site gym in Dearne Valley and Capita group benefits such as childcare vouchers.

Capita is committed to investing in individuals and communities therefore career progression opportunities are also offered within these roles to help develop the individual and their future prospects.

Local people who want to apply for one of the roles can attend one of two open days.  On Tuesday, November  19, those interested in roles can visit Capita Park, Dearne Valley from 3pm -7pm to find out more.

The second open day is at Hepworth House in Leeds on Wednesday, November 20, from 2pm – 7pm.
