A new networking group will launch in Easingwold in February to meet the needs of local businesses.
The national organisation 4Networking already runs several networking events across the county, but felt there was an opportunity to enhance the current network further by providing coverage for Easingwold and the surrounding areas.
Group leader Darren Housley said:
“The nearest 4N groups are Northallerton, Wetherby and York south, which are all more than 15 miles away.
“Networking needs to fit around the working day for most business people, so travelling that sort of distance first thing in the morning can be off-putting.
“We feel this new group will support local business”
Despite only joining 4N last August, Darren is keen to help establish new groups in other parts of North Yorkshire.
His career to date has been varied, from establishing a worm farm in France to running slimming clubs in Yorkshire – but throughout it all, helping other people has always been his passion.
Now a business advisor for Annecto UK, Darren loves to meet people, and takes great pleasure from helping businesses to both save and grow.
“4Networking has a fantastic format and I recommend everyone takes a closer look at the website to find out how it will benefit their business.
“I am happy to help businesses new to networking, and I believe 4N is a great forum to enhance personal and professional skills.
“Running your own business can be sometimes be very lonely, and networking isn’t just about gaining new clients.
“It represents a great opportunity to gain help and advice, new friends and much more.”
4N Easingwold’s first meeting will be at Burn Hall Hotel, Tollerton Road, Huby on Tuesday, February 4th from 8am to 10am.
The £12 entry cost includes a cooked or continental breakfast.
The group will then meet fortnightly at the same venue. For more information or to register to attend, visit www.4networking.biz/meets or call Darren on 07580 020785.
