Love was definitely in the air when Heart Research UK visited Caravan Guard this month. Representatives from the national charity called into the caravan and motorhome insurance provider’s office to collect the latest Paperless Policies cheque.
The Paperless Policy initiative sees Caravan Guard donate £1 every time a customer chooses to have their insurance documents sent online.
Set up in 2009, the initiative has exceeded exception year-on-year and has now raised a huge £22,943 for the Leeds-based charity.
Heart Research UK lifestyle officer, Katharine Greathead and income development manager Brian Curran accepted the cheque from Caravan Guard director Sally Wilby, head of development Neil Menzies and contact centre team manager Ruth Boyle.
Sally Wilby said:
“The success of Paperless Policies is phenomenal. To have raised almost £23,000 for a charity that’s so close to the hearts of people is a huge achievement and one we’re immensely proud of.”
After surpassing 2013’s target, Caravan Guard hopes that the best of Paperless Policies is yet to come.
