NG Bailey, the Ilkley-based independent engineering, IT and facilities services business, has won the Project of the Year (over £2m) category at the Construction News Specialist Awards ceremony, for the work carried out on Arla Foods’ new dairy in Aylesbury.
At the ceremony in London, attended by industry professionals from across the supply chain, the company was presented with the award having been recognised by the judges for the work on this project.
The judges praised NG Bailey for its understanding of the client’s requirements and passion for the project as a whole, commenting: “They demonstrated exceptional all-round excellence and a real focus on achieving the end product.”
Over 650 of the UK’s leading specialist contractors and industry elite came together for a night of celebration and unrivalled networking at the only awards ceremony that recognise and celebrate the very best specialist contractors across the UK.
The evening also saw NG Bailey highly commended in the Building Services Specialist of the Year category and third year apprentice, Reanna Evans, also receiving a highly commended in the Apprentice of the Year category.
Arla Foods’ new £150m dairy is the biggest in Europe and one of the greenest in the world, with the capacity to process one billion litres of milk a year.
