A series of roadshows across Yorkshire and Humber are showcasing how SMEs can secure investment to develop and grow their businesses.
Finance Yorkshire – which has invested more than £65 million in companies across the region – has already staged two and is holding a further two this week – tomorrow at Village Hotel, Hull, and Thursday, Town Hall, Sheffield.
Seedcorn, Business loans and Equity Linked investments, ranging from £15,000 to £2 million, are available from Finance Yorkshire to help SMEs meet their funding requirements for development and growth.
Financial intermediaries are invited to the roadshows to learn more about the impact of Finance Yorkshire’s investment activity and the types of funding available to SMEs.
Companies which have received investment from Finance Yorkshire will also feature at the events to demonstrate how they have benefitted from the funding.
They include cloud services provide Vapour Media, Brighouse; Rosehill Polymers Group; Sowerby Bridge, and Elland-based Control House.
Alex McWhirter, chief executive of Finance Yorkshire, said:
“The roadshows have become an engaging annual event with financial intermediaries across the region to assess and discuss investment opportunities in a wide range of businesses.
“This year, they will also provide details of how each of the Local Enterprise Partnerships is working collaboratively with us to encourage business innovation and growth.”
