Trainee solicitor Emma Haymes has raised £1,000 for a charity that provides real hair wigs for children affected by cancer by having nine inches of her own hair cut off.

Emma, who works at Langleys Solicitors in York, lost her locks for the Little Princess Trust which provides the wigs free of charge to boys and girls who have lost their hair through cancer treatment.

Emma said:

“The Little Princess Trust is an amazing charity – by providing the wigs they afford children some normality and help them deal with the effects of their illness.”

Friends and colleagues at Langleys sponsored Emma’s Mop Chop which took place at her local hairdressers, Renegade, Leeds.
