Leeds based National Resource Management Company 707, is celebrating the accolade of Small/Medium Employer of the Year at the BPP Apprentice of the Year Awards, after being recognised for their approach in giving unique opportunities to young people.
The awards are hosted by BPP, Europe’s largest professional education, training and publishing specialist.
The group provides undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, professional qualifications, development and materials to support professional learning in the workplace.
The awards recognise individuals and companies who have excelled in their qualifications and deserve recognition for their progression.
707, who operate cost effective waste management and recycle for businesses services across the UK, were commended for their commitment to recruiting a younger workforce and investment in in-house training via the BPP.
The judging panel, which included BPP Group CEO Carl Lygo, selected winners who showed considerable impact, increased participation and provided opportunities and support for young people’s career progression.
The awards recognised five individuals in different categories and two organisations, with 707 taking the crown for the Small/Medium Employer of the Year.
