Yorkshire-based business, McCarthy’s, has this month upgraded its online presence with a major overhaul of its primary website.
Although the company once operated across a range of websites, they have now been merged into one and customers are able to access all storage, removal, document management and shredding services and information via www.mjmccarthy.co.uk.
The newly redesigned site was also created by another growing Yorkshire company, Blueclaw, a web design and marketing agency based in the heart of Leeds who won the contract against a host of other agencies from around the region.
McCarthy’s has also announced that as a result of this successful collaboration, the new site features an entirely responsive design, creating a fully optimised service for customers on both mobile and tablet devices.
Managing Director Mike McCarthy said:
“It was important for us to move with the times, our competitors are becoming more prominent online and we wanted to create a site which would help us promote all our services, but also allow people to do their research and contact us using mobile devices.
“As an evolving business we have learnt to make changes and evolve our services and we feel our new site reflects this part of our business ethos”
Having been in the removal business for no less than forty years, McCarthy’s has remained close to its roots and is still owned and run by the McCarthy family, who have overseen its rise to become the biggest independent removals company in Yorkshire.
