National property consultancy Carter Jonas – the principal manager of rural estates in Yorkshire – has promoted senior associate Dan Taylor within its expanding rural land and business team.
Dan has been made partner of the firm’s rural division based in York.
Dan joined Carter Jonas in late 2008, becoming a senior associate in 2011. A registered RICS valuer, Dan specialises in valuations for all purposes, sale of rural property and land and general rural professional work, such as Landlord and Tenant matters and compensation claims. He is an agent for the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC) and provides advice on farm finance throughout Yorkshire and the North.
“It is very exciting to have become a partner at Carter Jonas. I’m looking forward to taking on this new challenge and working with my fellow partners to help build the division further and continue serving the needs of our wide and diverse client base.”
Carter Jonas is the principal estate management practice in Yorkshire, managing over 100,000 acres in Yorkshire and Scotland, and in excess of 1,000,000 acres nationally.
Andrew Fallows, partner at Carter Jonas, said:
“Dan’s promotion comes at a time when we’ve made a number of new appointments to further strengthen our successful land and farm agency team in Yorkshire enabling us to offer clients a broader range of services, including consultancy on planning matters, strategic land and renewable energy.”
Carter Jonas has a network of 28 offices across the country, with four in Yorkshire at York, Harrogate, Leeds and Boroughbridge.
