Beaumont Legal, Yorkshire’s largest residential conveyancing firm, has received a national award for the quality of its work and commitment to staff training.

The firm scooped the ‘Best Conveyancing Provider’ accolade at the Mortgage Finance Gazette awards, held at a ceremony in London earlier this month.

The national publication’s awards programme, now in its fifteenth year, recognises legal and conveyancing firms that offer excellent service and Beaumont Legal’s achievements in training particularly impressed the panel of judges.

Joanne Atkin, group editor at Mortgage Finance Gazette and an awards judge, said: “Training is paramount to Beaumont Legal and the judges were particularly impressed with the launch this year of a dedicated Training Academy which provides a clear career progression path for new recruits.

“The conveyancing industry is calling out for more qualified staff so this approach is highly refreshing, and fulfils a vital need to bring new talent into the industry.”

Nick Masheder, Partner & Head of Conveyancing at Beaumont Legal, said: “It’s a terrific achievement to win especially as I’m told that a record number of legal firms entered the awards this year.

This accolade is further recognition that our Training Academy ensures that the next generation of Beaumont Legal’s team will long continue our founding ethos.

It also reflects the ongoing hard work of our talented team to provide the very best in customer service.”

The fast-growing law firm, based in Wakefield, is already celebrating a number of accolades this year, including winning the ‘Best Law Firm for Conveyancing’ award from First Time Buyer magazine for a second successive year.

With a turnover exceeding £5 million, Beaumont Legal is at the forefront of the provision of modern legal services and continues to expand its residential conveyancing business as well as building its provision of litigation, commercial property and wills and probate services.
