National property consultancy Carter Jonas has sold two prominent retail units on Cheltenham Parade in central Harrogate to a local private Investor/Developer.
The property was sold with existing tenant American Top Nails and tenants are now being sought for the vacant 2,633 sq ft unit previously occupied by Its Incredible and Game Station.
Carter Jonas is acting for Oakgate Group to let the remaining unit which is situated in the busy retail district of Harrogate.
Chris Hartnell, senior surveyor Carter Jonas, said: “The property is prominently located on Cheltenham Parade within close proximity of Marks & Spencer and the Harrogate Theatre with the pedestrian crossing immediately outside providing easy access to the heart of Harrogate’s retail centre.
“We feel that the premises may be suitable for a number of different uses subject to planning and may be of particular interest to café/bar/restaurant operators.”
A spokesman for the new owners said: “We are extremely excited about the prospect of securing a good quality operator for the vacant unit. We plan to refurbish the property internally and externally so that the premises will be ready for occupation by Easter 2015.”
