An insurance broker and a national standards body for policing have both recently completed moves into Grade A offices at Central House in Harrogate.

Bluefin, which has taken 8,000 sq ft of offices, completed its move in February 2015.

Andrew Alderson, head of property & estates at Bluefin said: “Central House was a perfect location for us to base the long term future of the business having taken the decision to relocate from our historic offices in Harrogate on Ripon Road.

“We wanted a move to modern, purpose built offices and look forward to benefiting from a high quality open plan working environment which Central House now provides us with.”

The College of Policing, the professional body responsible for setting standards and professional development in policing, moved its Harrogate operations to the site in September 2014.

Both deals were brokered by property consultant Carter Jonas and joint agents JLL with senior surveyor Chris Hartnell at Carter Jonas overseeing the lettings.

Chris Hartnell said: “Central House is an impressive high specification office building with ample car parking a short distance from Harrogate Town Centre. The site attracts businesses of all sizes because of its high quality specification and attractive location and we’re delighted to welcome both the College of Police and Bluefin as new tenants.

“We are currently marketing office suites To Let from 2,500 sq ft – 6,000 sq ft should occupiers be looking for good quality office accommodation in Harrogate.”
