Harrogate Hotel du Vin has appointed a new spa manager to manage its ‘new look’ spa facilities.
Pippa Howard was previously spa supervisor at The Devonshire Arms for four years, and prior to that worked in spas on P&O Australia cruise ships travelling to and from Sydney. She trained at the Steiner beauty training school in London.
Following a re-vamp last October the spa now includes five treatment rooms, two manicure stations, a steam room, a monsoon shower and a relaxation room – to provide a secret sanctuary nestled beneath the hotel.
Pippa said: “I am so pleased to be joining Harrogate Hotel du Vin at such an exciting time. The spa is freshly re-vamped and I am looking forward to bringing in some fresh ideas and to meeting the ladies of Harrogate at upcoming events very soon.”
Claire Fitzgerald, regional sales manager York & Harrogate Hotel du Vin said: “The hotel is going through many exciting changes at the moment and we are so happy to have Pippa on board as our new spa manager. Not many people realise that we have such impressive facilities hidden away in the hotel.
“With summer on its way and everyone wanting to look their best we hope that Pippa’s new ideas and enthusiasm will help to bring the people of Harrogate here for all their beauty needs!”
