Leeds-based Sky Betting and Gaming has won five awards at the national eGaming Review (eGR) Marketing and Innovation Awards 2015, beating off stiff competition from a strong shortlist.
The Sky Betting and Gaming team were presented with the accolades for Casino Marketing Campaign, Innovation in Mobile and Tablet, Sportsbook Marketing Campaign, CRM Campaign and Best Smart Phone App.
The Leeds-based team, headed up by chief executive, Richard Flint, were handed the awards at the ceremony at The Pavilion at the Tower of London by one of the UK’s finest stand-ups, Chris Ramsey.
The accolade for Casino Marketing Campaign was awarded for Sky Betting and Gaming’s Race to Berlin, a five week competition – with the top 200 players winning prizes ranging from £50 to £8,000. The top prize for the winner was a VIP package, including flights and hotels, to the Champions League final in Berlin taking the total prize pool to more than £100,000.
Innovation in Mobile and Tablet was presented for maintaining the company’s lead on mobile by delivering a stream of exciting customer-focused features including Sky Bet Tracker, Sky Casino, utilising iBeacon technology and Touch ID Log in.
Sky Betting and Gaming’s Cheltenham 2015 programme bagged two awards, Sportsbook Marketing Campaign and CRM Campaign. The integrated programme ensured that trading and marketing offers consistently reached the right customers through all touch points including email, Push Notifications, SMS, OBTM and onsite, driving customer engagement with personalised offers.
Last but not least, the team scooped the award for Best Smart Phone App for Soccer Saturday Super 6 that catapulted the game to its current level of biggest free-to-play prediction game in the UK.
