Leeds-based entrepreneur Matt Miles has set sail in the Mediterranean, launching an independent luxury yacht charter company operating out of Ibiza’s idyllic St Eulalia port.

Sea Amigos, the White Isle’s newest, privately owned, luxury yacht charter, will offer a unique experience to all those visiting the island.

Mr Miles recently unveiled a £1million investment in the Yorkshire region, which saw his waste management company Lili Waste continue its rapid growth as it expanded into the Leeds market.

Sea Amigos specialise in luxury transfers to Formentera, Ibiza’s idyllic sister island and one of Europe’s top destinations, regularly attracting stars such as Kate Moss, Orlando Bloom and Ellie Goulding.

Having spent many years exploring the island and enjoying the bays of the Balearics, Matt Miles launched Sea Amigos so that holidaymakers could experience, in luxury, some of the island’s hidden gems.

Mr Miles, who has invested over €1.5million in Ibiza, said: “I have been visiting Ibiza by boat, for years, and while its famous nightlife is understandably one of the island’s biggest draws, the essence of Ibiza can be found along its shoreline, with numerous party or relaxing bays waiting to be explored.

“With our luxurious boats available for private charter throughout the summer, we hope to offer tourists a unique experience, allowing them to soak up Ibiza’s atmosphere in style and rub shoulders with The White Isle’s rich and famous. Just last week, we moored up alongside Giorgio Armani!”
