Ten is the magic number for Leeds agency

A Yeadon based digital marketing agency has recruited ten new staff members across the team, after enjoying a strong financial quarter.

Bolser, a digital agency founded in 2001 by director Ashley Bolser, a board member on the Leeds Digital Board,  plans to double the size of the business over the next few months, having already in the last year hired an extra person in every department in the agency.

Flying the flag for the Leeds Digital sector, Bolser has gone from strength to strength in 2016, with over 30 per cent growth in new and organic business, including winning new work from a number of global clients including BBC, EE, and Microsoft. They are now in the process of increasing the team to 30 employees, to keep up with the ever-growing client work.

With a turnover of £2 Million in 2015, Bolser is currently on target for a 2016 turnover target of a 35 per cent growth whilst maintaining profit margins.

Heavily involved in the digital community, Ashley Bolser is keen to showcase Leeds as the place to be for digital careers, and is passionate about bringing talent from across the country, to Leeds.

He said: “I don’t think it’s fanciful to now say that Leeds can hold its own against London when it comes to digital.

“That hasn’t always been the way but it most certainly is now. We work for a number of Global clients and need to recruit the best in the industry. We’ve attracted staff from far and wide and I’m proud and a little smug to say we work in a thriving city that can compete worldwide on digital skills.”

With four new staff already employed the new team members have skills ranging from digital developers to account managers to SEO experts.

Search engine optimisation manager Rochelle Royal has been brought into the team to develop (SEO) & App Store Optimisation (ASO) services offered to clients.

Rochelle has over six years’ experience in digital marketing, specialising in SEO, ASO & content marketing strategies.

She said: “After working for different companies throughout West Yorkshire, it is great to be welcomed into an agency to head up a division to bring my experience and be able to really run with it. I am already implementing new techniques that will benefit our team and clients.”

Front-end developer, Rich Cooper, has wide experience in digital marketing, full stack development and graphic design, whilst specializing in front-end development. Before joining Bolser, Rich worked as the Lead Developer at Leeds Living – a start up building an app to aid city living in Leeds.

Digital designer Adam Knights has wide experience of graphic design and front-end development, whilst specializing in digital design. Before joining Bolser, Adam worked as a Digital Designer at Brass Agency – an advertising and marketing agency in Headingley/Leeds.

The agency team helps to deliver marketing and communication strategy for national and international clients with a particular emphasis on digital, web and mobile marketing. The team is motivated by helping clients develop successful campaigns particularly in emerging areas of technology in marketing, including CMS systems, SEO and App store optimisation (ASO).
