Leeds Law firm Ison Harrison has made a number of new appointments to strengthen their existing personal injury and clinical negligence teams at their central Leeds branch.
James Thompson has taken up the role of interim Head of Clinical Negligence, covering Rebecca Woods’ maternity leave. James used to work at Ison Harrison ten years ago as a trainee solicitor then moved to Irwin Mitchell. Having returned to Ison Harrison, he is looking forward to working with the team again.
Steven Addy has joined as a legal executive, moving on from the Barnsley-based law firm Raleys, who recently went into administration. Ison Harrison has been handling their client work since their closure and Steven is a welcome addition to the team, bringing with him his personal injury expertise.
Also joining the personal injury team is Melita Roberts, a paralegal. Melita will be working closely with the well-established Leeds city centre team alongside the newly appointed James Thompson.
Another new addition is Barnaby Rosenthall, a solicitor with expertise in all aspects of clinical negligence.
The recent team growth is due to an influx of work following the closure of Raleys Solicitors in March. Ison Harrison were officially appointed to manage existing Raleys clients and oversee the smooth transition from one law firm to another for everyone involved.
Jonathan Wearing, managing partner, said: “As we continue to expand with our offices throughout West Yorkshire, we’re excited to strengthen the central Leeds branch with some new faces and skills in the personal injury and clinical negligence teams. I wish Jonathan, Melita, Steven and Barnaby a long and happy future with us at Ison Harrison.”
