Following the announcement at Leeds Digital Festival 2016 that Leeds will become a Gigabit City, Diva Telecom are inviting local businesses to a launch event on Tuesday July 12 at The Tetley.

With nearly 120km of pure fibre infrastructure now available for use by businesses and the public sector, Leeds is amongst the best digitally connected cities in the world and is future-proofed for the digital age.

The event which will hear from infrastructure provider CityFibre and Diva Telecom will provide Leeds businesses with the opportunity to understand how their organisations can benefit from the ultra-fast internet connectivity and the wider benefits of being based in a Gigabit City.

Erica Lewis, managing director at Diva Telecom, said: “As the premier service provider for the roll out of Gigabit City Leeds we are excited to be able to use the pure fibre infrastructure to offer our customers high level connectivity services.

“Diva Telecom has always looked ahead for innovative solutions and we understand that it is of crucial importance that businesses have ultra-fast connectivity to remain not only competitive but have the ability to succeed in an increasingly digital future.”

The event which takes place between 5.30pm–7.30pm will also give local organisations the opportunity to network.
