Linley & Simpson is helping young footballers to shoot for success as part of its latest community support project.
The residential sales and lettings specialists, whose 11-strong Yorkshire network includes branches at Harrogate, Ripon and Wetherby, has linked up for the first time with Harrogate Railway AFC.
The agency has agreed a new deal with the club to provide 80 footballs for all its junior teams for the budding Wayne Rooneys and Harry Kanes to use during training – as well as match balls for their games.
Like Linley & Simpson, Harrogate Railway prides itself on its community roots and has an ever-growing junior section that caters for all ages from around six-years-old, potentially allowing progression to the semi-professional first team.
Director Will Linley said: “We are thrilled to play a role in nurturing the talent of Harrogate’s young sports stars in this way. This is the latest in a number of community and charitable initiatives that we are launching throughout the year to support a range of good causes at the heart of our community.”
