As Budget Day looms on Wednesday, a Harrogate accountancy practice is inviting local business owners to join them for a free breakfast when the key announcements and their implications will be explained.
CCF Accountancy, based on Victoria Avenue, will host the event on Thursday – the day after the autumn budget – from 8am– 9.30am at Pannal Golf Club.
CCF managing director Teresa Bowes said: “The Budget is a major event for businesses of all sizes. Changes in tax or fuel duty grab the headlines, but there are always other announcements that will affect companies – and their owners and directors need to know about them.
“As this is the first new autumn budget – previously this was a pre-budget report – the expectation is that the Chancellor plans to make an impact so there’s likely to be lots to discuss.
“We’ll go over the main points and explain in clear, jargon-free language how they will affect local businesses and what they can or should do to ensure they receive the best benefit from them.”
The CCF Budget Breakfast, which includes bacon sandwiches, tea and coffee, is free to attend.
Places are limited, however, and must be booked in advance. For more details or to reserve a place, call 01423 567499 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
