Construction & Housing Yorkshire event takes delegates’ computing skills to Cloud Nine!

A Leeds organisation is launching its 2013 series of events with a free workshop aimed at people interested in improving their business opportunities within the regional construction and housing sector.

Being held at the White Rose Conference Centre, in Leeds, on the evening of Wednesday, February 13, the Construction & Housing Yorkshire event will feature a number of key speakers, including developers and contractors.

It will also introduce the new CHY support services, including the launch of new features and services available through the WinWeb Online Exchange.

One of the highlights will be a speech by Gerald Jennings, Portfolio Director for Land Securities.

He will be outlining how local businesses can use CHY and the Online Exchange to access contractors within the regional supply chain.

The event is being staged in partnership with Enterprise Rockers, one of UK’s largest self-help communities for micro-businesses, and WinWeb, the most popular platform dedicated to providing cloud computing services to businesses.

Construction & Housing Yorkshire Director Rob Wolfe said:

Our inaugural workshop of 2013 is aimed at those businesses wanting to improve their standing in the regional construction industry.

In addition to hearing from Land Securities, we will also be hearing from other key members who offer support, advice and practical tools to help businesses win more work.

One of the key topics being explored is how cloud computing and the Online Exchange can be used to support businesses in becoming more efficient, visible and collaborative, at the same time allowing them to win more work with local clients as well as have easy access to other local businesses.
