Harrogate-based Cicada Communications has got off to a flying start in 2013 with a flurry of new business wins.
Telecommunications specialists NGC Networks, Wakefield have selected Cicada to help raise the firm’s profile across Yorkshire.
Over the next six months Cicada will be working with NGC on creating a narrative about the firm and its work and introducing NGC to potential customers and opinion formers around the region.
Cicada has also been contracted by both Newby Hall and the Yorkshire Vintage Association in the build-up to National Tractor Weekend. The event, which is the largest of its kind in the UK, aims to attract 8,000 visitors to the North Yorkshire attraction on 8-9 June 2013.
The Cicada team will be working with the hosts, organisers and exhibitors to generate interest around the event through a variety of channels.
York Cocoa House is another new client where Cicada is supporting founder and managing director Sophie Jewett on a communications strategy for the business. Cicada is also raising the profile of Yorkshire–based international business leader David Dockray where work includes the development of a brand and new website.
Cicada managing director Di Burton said:
