The 37 year old Irish jockey has enjoyed an illustrious career winning the Grand National on Amberleigh House in 2004 and remaining close to the top of the National Hunt Jockeys table for over a decade. Having suffered a number of injuries, he switched to flat racing in 2012. Graham had an incredible first season as a flat jockey, finishing eighth in the jockeys’ championship and riding over 100 winners during the year. In January 2012, he also celebrated riding the 1000th winner of his career.
Graham, who holds freelance status, lives in Bedale and will mainly ride in Yorkshire. He will sport the JCT600 logo on his new Audi A6 from Grimsby Audi as well as on his race clothing.
Simon Barrass, director of JCT600, said:
This is a great partnership- Graham has enjoyed an amazing career and got off to a flying start last year, re-inventing himself as a flat jockey. We’re proud to be supporting Graham and hope that he will be sporting our name in many more winners’ enclosures in the coming season.
