Yorkshire Tea has entered a three- year deal that sees it featured as the official brew of the England cricket team, with the Harrogate-based brand forming an integral part of the ECB’s marketing activity.
Limehouse was tasked with producing a short piece of film on Michael announcing his role as brand ambassador and Yorkshire Tea’s role as official sponsor and England cricket team brew. The footage was used internally to communicate the news to staff and is promoting the partnership on social media channels.
The team at Limehouse also filmed behind the scenes on location for the TV commercial, capturing priceless moments when staff from all departments of Bettys & Taylors came together to give a unique flavour to the storyline.
Limehouse was initially briefed to produce this piece of film for use on the company’s Facebook page to highlight the participation of Bettys & Taylors own personnel, from those on the tea line to senior management. However the event proved such a memorable occasion that Limehouse also produced a commemorative DVD as a souvenir for all those involved.
Dom Dwight, brand communications manager at Bettys & Taylors, said:
Having worked with Limehouse last year and knowing how competent they are in understanding and meeting our objectives, we knew that their work would be innovative and on brand. The concluding film clips show Yorkshire Tea, and its people, at their best.
Nick Howard, founder and managing director of Limehouse, said:
Working with Taylors of Harrogate allows us the opportunity to really show our creativity and we are absolutely delighted to have been a part of this latest Yorkshire Tea campaign which underlines the key features of the brand and moves it from regional to national favourite.
