Shipley-based Incident management specialist Keycare – which recovers and replaces lost or stolen keys for customers of household names – is enjoying another prestigious client win by providing a key replacement service for customers of auto insurer Chaucer Direct.
Customers of Chaucer Direct renewing or taking out a motor insurance policy will benefit from the key replacement service which the company is offering on its car insurance policies.
Paul Baxter, Head of Chaucer Direct said:
“We are committed to adding value to our customers and this new partnership with Keycare gives them an added peace of mind. By offering this feature on our car insurance policies, we are minimising distress for our customers. They know that if their keys were lost or stolen, they would be replaced quickly and efficiently.”
The win comes hot on the heels of a raft of new contracts for Keycare with customers including Tesco Bank and insurance company Go Skippy. It follows a milestone year for the secondgeneration family business whose 31-strong team has expanded to bigger premises in Shipley to accommodate growth.
David Ross, MD of Keycare, said:
“The price of replacing car keys continues to rocket – in some instances electronically programmed keys can cost as much as £1000 or more to replace.
“Keycare scooped this contract in a competitive pitch and this new product brings an assurance to customers if they lose their keys, and supports the reputation of Chaucer Direct for offering its customers great service.”
