He has a Masters Degree in risk management and has joined the airport team from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, where he was Head of Group Safety.

“I am delighted to be working at Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield. Having joined the team I hope to achieve a number of key targets for the airport. I am hoping to ensure, by working closely with the regulator and my team, that the airport will set the standard for safety and we will be able to share examples of best practice within the industry.
“My ethos is to ensure that we are proactive when it comes to managing safety and risk to ensure that problems are avoided rather than having to be dealt with.
“My role is very much to oversee that anything that comes into contact with the airport, whether it is passengers, planes or members of staff are very well looked after and are not exposed to any unnecessary risk.
“I am incredibly passionate about my job and I am always striving to ensure that I am delivering results which are the best that they can be and that I am leading the way in all aspects of my work.
“We are pleased to welcome Andrew to our management team and are looking forward to working him.
“Operational risk, safety and regulatory compliance are of the upmost importance to all of us at the airport and I am sure that Andrew will work to ensure that we are continually achieving our targets and setting the standard throughout the industry.”
“Andrew brings a number of key attributes to his new role, including a wealth of both aviation and risk management experience, and I am sure that he will be a great addition to our team.”
