A Harrogate charity is zooming in on new initiatives after a local photographer snapped into action to support its work.
Boosting the coffers of The Carers’ Resource is the focus of attention for the man behind the lens of the fund-raising effort, Tim Los.
The professional photographer is making himself available to take family, group or individual portraits at the charity’s headquarters at 11 North Park Road next Sunday (June 23) between 2pm and 5pm.
Proceeds will go towards supporting the charity’s work helping Yorkshire’s growing number of unpaid carers – a group which has increased by as much as 53 per cent in some areas between the last two census reports.
Tim, a diving expert and scuba instructor, has hit the headlines through his specialism of underwater dog photography. But he is equally at home ‘shooting’ some of Yorkshire’s top weddings and social events.
He will leaving his diving tank and wetsuit at home when he performs a series of more traditional portrait sessions in a studio created at the charity’s base.
