The company, which supplies the print industry with a variety of high-tech equipment, is launching the Eagle range of small format, UV LED flatbed inkjet printers into the UK at the show.
Developed by DPI DG Printing, Italy, the Eagle UV LED 30 and the Eagle UV LED 60 machines print onto substrates and objects up to a depth of 25cm making it ideal for imaging onto a wide range of products from flat signage to 3D promotional products (usb sticks, mouse mats, etc), and industrial components.
The Eagle printers use UV inks which are suitable for printing onto a wide range of both flexible and non-flexible substrates (card to plastic sheets, to solid panels) and deliver vibrant, wide colour gamut results. Furthermore the use of LED UV drying lamps allows users to print onto heat-sensitive substrates.
The FESPA exhibition is the largest focused event for the wide-format print industry; providing an international platform to demonstrate and see the latest equipment and consumables in digital printing, screen printing, industrial and garment decoration.
Commenting on the launch, Scott Armitage, SSE worldwide’s managing director, said:
“The Eagle is highly versatile and affordable machine which enables companies to print onto a wide range of materials and objects and, as a result, to open up new markets for added-value printed products.
“FESPA is a perfect opportunity for us to launch the technology into the UK market.”
