Whilst the site has been closed, the team has been undergoing training in all elements of the business including customer service and cocktail and wine training.
Joanne Mcloughlin, general manager of Yates’s said:
“Our aim, when we reopen, is to offer the very best customer service which is why we have recruited 15 new team members.
“It’s our goal to be one of the best places to visit in the city centre, especially with our location so near to the station and next to the new Trinity Shopping Centre.
“We’re often the first port of call for people visiting Leeds so we want to make sure that they have a great experience whenever they visit us, day or night.
“To ensure we broaden our appeal and cater for a wider audience we’ve made some operational changes such as opening an hour earlier at 9am every day which means that customers can take advantage of our great breakfast offer.
“We’re also introducing a new coffee offer with one of Italy’s most popular coffee brands, Lavazza. This means our customers will be able to enjoy a quality cup of coffee each and every time.”
“The plans for the new-look Yates’s are incredible and changes will be made to the external and internal areas creating a fresh, vibrant environment. The team and I are really excited with the plans and are looking forward to showcasing the new-look Yates’s.”
