Ladies across Barnsley and Rotherham will be getting together for a networking event with a touch of class.
Next Thursday (July 4), Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber’s Women in Business Group will host a vintage afternoon tea at Tankersley Manor, where they will be joined by Andrea Pearson, a style consultant who will share her tips on dressing with authority.
Andrea is a Personal Colour Analyst and Stylist with House of Colour, a British based style and image consultancy, with an international market.
As well as pots of tea, finger sandwiches and an array of cakes, guests will also receive a one-day pass to Tankersley Manor’s leisure club, which can be used on the day or saved for a later date.
Emma Phillips, Vice-chair of Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber Women in Business Group, said:
“Our vintage afternoon tea offers ladies a chance to do some networking in a fun and relaxed way. At Women in Business, we’re always trying to find new ways of bringing the business community together and highlighting the contribution women make to the workplace across our region.”
“Dressing effectively for business can sometimes be a challenge, especially as we don’t have the standard ‘suit, shirt, tie’ option that our male colleagues have! The session with Andrea should prove both interesting and useful and we’re all looking forward to picking up some tips.”
Tickets are still available and cost £12 for Chamber members (£15 for non-members). The event starts at 4pm and finishes at 6.30pm.
