Pink Sun, an online retailer of premium nutritional supplements and health products, has employed the services of Dearne Valley based Cambertown, to help manage a sharp rise in orders and deliveries.
Michael Lane, director of strategy and planning at Pink Sun, said:
“We knew we needed to get some of the day to day tasks off our desks but we didn’t really know what we were looking for. We decided to try a fulfilment house to manage our orders and send out our deliveries.”
Whilst discussing his situation with a contact at Royal Mail, Cambertown was suggested and Michael invited them to tender, along with two competitors.
“The tender process enabled us to really hone down what we were looking for and gave us confidence in the service we would get. Cambertown offered everything we needed and appointing them has allowed us to outsource everything other than product sourcing and marketing and sales.
“All the orders, sales and deliveries are now automated and managed at Cambertown’s end so we’re now able to really concentrate on the things we enjoy about running our business.
“We launch our new website soon and that’s something we simply wouldn’t have had time to sort out without Cambertown’s support.”
Terry Sorfleet, managing director at Cambertown, said:
“Running a business is hard work, whether you’re an up and coming online retailer like Pink Sun or a well-established company. At Cambertown we aim to take the headache out of managing the everyday stuff and free people up to get on with what they’re best at – growing their business.
“Being able to help Pink Sun is exactly what we’re all about and I’m looking forward to supporting Michael as the business grows.”
Operating out of a 3.5 acre purpose built space in Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire, Cambertown is a leading mailing and fulfilment house which works with a range of organisations including international charities, government departments, football clubs and SMEs to hold their stock, manage their orders and arrange their deliveries and mailings.
