Newly-promoted FC Harrogate has had its first team sponsorship deal with Knaresborough IT services business Vital Network Solutions renewed for the forthcoming season.
Founded in 2009 the club is fielding four competitive squads this season with the first team now challenging for the Harrogate & District Premier League.
The club also has teams playing in the Harrogate & District League, the Harrogate Claro League and the York Corinthians Charity League.
This is the second time that Vital has supported the club with this year’s sponsorship funding a new first team kit.
Richard Baranovsky, FC Harrogate Veteran’s player manager, said:
“It’s great to have Vital on-board for the second year as a sponsor and to have their name on our fantastic new kit.
“Their contribution last year was invaluable in keeping the team running in a tough season that saw us gain promotion to the Harrogate & District Premier League.”
Lee Evans, managing director of Vital Network Solutions, said:
“While our sponsorship isn’t quite up there with the multi-million pound deals of the Barclays Premier League, it’s great to be able to support a local team and still have an impact but on a local level.
“It will undoubtedly be a tough first season in the Premier League – good luck to the lads this season, do us proud and keep hitting the back of the net.”
