The exam, in both written and practical papers, covers a range of Cuban cigar knowledge, from the agricultural and manufacturing cigar processes through to the cutting, lighting and serving of cigars.
Peter, who earlier this year took third place in the world championships for cigar waiters, said:
“The exam is said to represent the highest achievable status regarding Cuban cigar knowledge in the UK so I’m absolutely delighted to have passed it and joined such an elite group of people – there are only six Masters of Havana Cigars working in the UK.”
