A Yorkshire-based retail company, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, has opened a new store Warrington.
The Linen Warehouse – which is owned and run by Ross and Kirsteen Leventhal – will be located in the Cheshire town’s popular Cock Hedge Centre and employ seven members of staff.
Last year the couple, who have more than 40 stores across the north of England, Spain and Portugal operating under the Yorkshire Linen Co and Linen Warehouse brands, opened their first Cheshire outlet in Congleton.
The opening of the Warrington Linen Warehouse comes on the back of the company investing more than £500,000 over the last two years in its high street operation.
The company, which has a turnover in excess of £18 million and employs more than 300 people, stocks a wide range of home furnishings for every room in the house.
Mr Leventhal said:
“The opening of the new store in Warrington marks another key milestone in our ongoing investment and expansion programme.
“Our Congleton store is proving incredibly popular and this has led us to seeking further opportunities in the county. We believe the Cock Hedge Centre is a great location for our second Cheshire opening.”
Mr Leventhal added:
“Whilst many shops are retreating from the high street, we are actively supporting it by refurbishing existing outlets and opening new ones.”
